We love you so much Madilyn Adele and know that you continue to grow into an amazing person. We are so proud of the little girl you are and couldn't be more in love with your spirit.
Hugs from Daddy, Mommy and Cru.

So, I am a huge blog slacker! Geesh........
We have had quite a busy month. We officially put our house on the market. Here's hoping we will sell this summer and be in a new house by the time school starts. I will say one thing about putting your house up for sale...you keep it clean!! :)
Maddie had her last day of preschool in the beginning of May and misses her friends. :) I can't believe she will be four next week! Time is going to fast if you ask me. She has her dance recital in two weeks and is so excited to dance for everyone on "Daddy's stage." They perform at the High School. So cute. We can't wait!!
Cru is smiling all the time and really getting strong. He is almost 3 months now...again, time is flying. He is sleeping pretty good, about 7 hours a night. I know...that's "through the night" but I like 10! LOL!! Selfish...
Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful spring weather!! Cross your fingers and say a prayer that we sell our house.

We had a wonderful Easter this year. The Easter bunny visited Maddie at home and then left all sorts of eggs at Papa and Grandma Hosfords. :) Actually Uncle Jim set up the most amazing Easter egg hunt in the Hosford's front yard...it was simply adorable! The girls just loved it!! :D

Unlike Maddie who loved the bath from the get-go, Cru does NOT dig bath time. :) He looks at me like I am torturing him the whole time, it's awful!! Makes for cute pictures though.......... ;)
Cruiser-The-Bruiser as Maddie calls him, is one month old already!! He is finally really seeing us and reacting to our voices and faces. The best........... He gets lots of kisses from his big sister, who is just the BEST at her important job. :) Time is already going too fast........

Cru had his two week check up today with the fabulous Dr. Ken Fawcett. :) Cru has surpassed his birth weight by quite a bit. He's 7lbs. 2 oz already! Dr. Fawcett said he is obviously a Hosford. :) He has also grown an inch and half! He's 20 inches. We are so blessed that he has not showed any signs of Anemia like Maddie had. His blood work has come back perfect. :) AWESOME!!
Maddie is loving the big sister roll...most of the time. ;) She has struggled a little with sharing Mom and Dad, but I'm sure it will pass. ;)
Thanks for a the love and support!! :D We are truly blessed.

Ahhh, the big day. :) We welcomed Cru Thomas at 6:35 on Tuesday morning with open arms. :) He weighed 6lbs. 5oz. and was 18 1/2 inchs longs. A perfect little bundle. :) We are so thrilled that everything went well and we couldn't be more blessed with the support of our family and friends. Thank you all so much for your kind notes, messages and for stopping up to see us. It means the world to us to know how much we are loved. :) Cru is one lucky little man. Maddie is pretty excited for us to get home so she can start taking care of her little brother. She is going to be just amazing...
Love you all so very much!! Thanks again...

Maddie is so very excited about the arrival of her new baby brother. Everyday we talk about what sorts of things she is going to be able to help with. From baths, to picking out his "tiny super cute clothes" and even changing his diaper. (only if it's not green and stinky...) She is going to be one GREAT helper.
As the days grow closer, I can't help feel those last days of being a Mom of one. :) Maddie has played such a huge role in our life for the past three and a half years. As much as we tried not to make her the center of the world...there are moments were I know she is. :) She has brought more joy in our lives that I ever thought possible. We can't wait to watch her grow as a big sister and learn to share with her new little bro. :) Life is about to change for sure....

We had another ultrasound yesterday and he's growing like a weed. :) He's about 3.9lbs and 15inches! :) Grow baby boy, GROW! :) He has been watched for anemia like Maddie had and I will have another test on Monday just to re-check a result from yesterday. No worries, we know he is just fine. :)
I love the picture of his foot...That is why I have had such horrible nerve issues on my right side! Both of his feet are jammed in my right lower abdomen! This is proof!! :D

We spent our New Years Eve really whoop'n it up with Jason and Johanna. :) Ok...so a little less "whoop" that normal, but we still had a great time. We had dinner at Grill 111, which was fabulous. Then a "drink" at Reds, and then we actually stopped for one at the Tavern. Yeah...we left after one. The Tavern is just not the same when your pregnant. ;) We ended the evening at our house barely making it to the ball drop. :)
We welcome 2009 with open arms and know this is going to be an exciting year!! Much love and best wishes in the new year to you all!!
