Story Time With Daddy

Right before bed time, is the best time for a great story. Tonights story was Good Night Moon, a wonderful childhood memory for many of us.

Aunt Nancy Stops In

Today we had a visit from Nancy Hager, a dear friend. Both Maddie and I were very glad to see her. A trip up to the Hagers cottage was Madilyn's first big trip, at just under a month old. Here is a picture on the 4th of July at the Hagers. In this picture is Madilyn, Jared, and his wife Brynne. Jared and Brynne are expecting this April. A big congratulations to the Hagers!! We are all so excited for you!

Maddie's Boyfriend

Here is Jackson Burkholder, Maddie's boyfriend. Tom and already sat him down and had "the talk." :) I hope to get pictures of all of Maddie's friends, to post. I'll get to work on that...

Good luck GVSU Lakers!

As the Grand Valley Lakers prepare for a rivalry game against Saginaw Valley this Saturday, we thought it would be appropriate to post a photo of the MOTOR HOME 8. This group made the journey to AL. the year Tom and Dan won their National Championship. What a great win that was. Little did we know then, the following year would be second National Championship for the Grand Valley Lakers. We have a good feeling that this might be another trip down south for the MH8. :)

Bon Jovi or Bust

Mom and Dad Hosford took the whole family ( Hosford kids ) to see Bon Jovi at the Palace on Friday. Adam and Melissa Burkholder also attended it with us. It was an amazing concert. I think even if you aren't a Bon Jovi fan, you can appreciate a great show, and that it was. Here is Katie (Bibler now), Kellie and myself at dinner before the show.

Just Like A Big Sister

Here is a photo of our niece Isabella and Madilyn. She takes such good care of Maddie when they are together. In fact some might say that when Maddie is within reach, no one else has a chance!! :) We know that she loves her very much.

Visit from Aunt Vicky

Today my sister Vicky came by to visit. Here is great a picture of the two of them.

Madilyn's First Snowfall

Maddie woke up with a smile from her nap, feeling much better...cold season has hit the Hosford family hard this year. What do we see out our window??? Maddie's first snowfall!

An 80's Halloween

This October, Jason and Johanna Vander Wall threw an 80's Halloween party. Here are Johanna and myself in full 80's fashion. What you can't see are the mini skirts and leg warmers...not a pretty sight. :) Another not-so-hot sight were the men that night. I'm not allowed to share those photos with you...I have been threatened. :)

Our little bug

Our beautiful little butterfly. Early in the day stopped at Grandpa Hosfords work ( the Admin building) to see our friends there. Then later that day went Trick-or-Treating at Grandpa and Grandma Fannings and Grandma and Grandpa Hosfords. It was a long day for Madilyn, in and out of her costume. I don't think she could have looked any sweeter that day.

Madilyn and her Grandpa Hosford

Madilyn was about 4 months here, with her Grandpa. He's already spoiling her rotten! What a lucky girl.

Just me and my Dad

I think we have a Daddy's girl on our hands. :)

Happy girl and not so happy...

Here are two of the sweetest pictures we have of Maddie. One at her happiest and one...well you can see for your self...

Our grown up niece

Here is a photo of my niece, Rebekah looking beautiful for the Rockford homecoming dance. We had fun that morning, I got the chance to do her hair for the dance.

My How She's Grown

As many of you know our little Madilyn Adele came a little early and only 4 and a half pounds. My, how she's grown. She is 5 and a half months now, 13lbs. and 24 inches long. This is a picture of her at three weeks, where she was just under 5lbs. This was taken by a wonderful photographer and friend Melissa.

Courtright Family Fun

In September, we spent the weekend up in Mt. Pleasant with my Mom's side our the family. It was such a wonderful time. Here is a great picture of my parents at my Uncle Jerry's house, where we had a grill out and pool party. This other picture is of Madilyn and her Great Grandma Courtright up at my Uncle Bill and Aunt Barbs home in Clare. We were able to get some amazing photos with many of our family memembers. The third is of cousin's Wendy, Laura and baby Katherine, again at Uncle Bill's.
