Meeting Santa

Today Maddie met Santa Claus and actually didn't cry! :) She didn't really know what to make of him. She didn't smile, but more or less just sat there. :) Hey...at least there were no tears.

Courtright Family Christmas '06

Sunday was my Mom's side (Courtright) family Christmas gathering in Mt. Pleasant. My Grandma hosted and we all brought "the grub." It was wonderful seeing everyone! Maddie and Catherine, as you can see in the picture, got into the gifts before we had a chance to open them. I love the look on their faces.

Congratulations Aaron and Sarah!

We want to send out our congrats to Aaron and Sarah as they were married on Saturday Dec. 16th. Many blessings!!

Less then 6 weeks!!

Man........we are SOOOOO excited that in less than six weeks, we are going to have new little bundle of joy in the Hosford family. Gracie is on her way!! I'm placing bets that she will arrive early. Doctors aren't ALWAYS right. :) I say....oh....Jan. 5th. 8lbs. 7oz. Eh...just a guess.
I stole this picture from Katie and Austin's blog, so a thank you goes to Katie for the pic. Tracy, you have been such a trooper with your pregnancy! It's getting so close now and we are praying for a smooth and safe delivery.

Snowday Fun!!!

Madilyn and I spent the afternoon outside in the snow. What a BLAST!! She was a riot. She absolutely loved the snow, except when it got in her boots. Then...not so much. :) Here are a few cute pics.

Another Hosford Baby on the Way.

Babies!! Babies!! Babies!!!

Tom and I are pleased to share with you that we are expecting our second child in the summer. :) I'm not very far along, 6 weeks at most. We are so excited and couldn't be happier. Another little Hosford running around. :) Maddie of course will be the best big sister and already understands that Mommy has a baby in her belly. Thanks to months of practice with Aunt Tracy.

Congratulations Kellie!!

Tom's sister Kellie graduated from Paragon's School of Pet Grooming yesterday after a year of study. She did a fantastic job and just loves what she is doing already. She has a job grooming at Holiday Kennel, on Northland Drive and couldn't be happier. I totally stole the picture below of Kellie and her boyfriend Tony from Dan and Tracy's Blog as I forgot my camera. Yeah....My mind is slipping lately. :) Thanks guys.
CONGRATS KELLIE!!! We couldn't be more proud of you sweetie!

Madilyn's First Haircut

Ok so it's not like Maddie has a HUGE head of hair...but she had a little mini-mullet going on, and we weren't have'n that. :)

On November 8th Tom was getting his hair cut at Studio J (AKA Johanna's) and I was finally talked into letting Jo cut Maddie's hair. It was a good choice, as she doesn't have the mullet anymore and she had a riot getting it cut. She was such a good girl through the whole thing. We think having her watch Tom go first helped. She even assisted Johanna washing her Daddy's hair. I didn't have my camera with me, so thank you Aunt Johanna and Uncle Jason for letting me borrow it!! Thanks for the First Haircut Aunt JoJo!! :)

It's raining gifts!! For baby Gracie that is...

We had a shower for Tracy today at my mother inlaw's house. She was blessed with so many wonderful things for our new little niece. Tracy looks fantastic at 31 weeks along. Maddie was a ham and got quite sleepy towards the end. She had a huge night last night playing with her Uncle Dan. :) We love you guys and can't wait to meet our new little family member.

Oh no......

This is Maddie's "Oh no...aww" sad face....so sweet. There is a neighbor dog that hangs around Tom's parents house named Max. He's sort of a stray...it's just sad. Maddie was looking out at him today and was saying "awww" and making this face. I just had to get it. :)

Halloween Party '06

For the second year in row, our great friends Jason and Johanna opened their home to a bunch of wackos, for a Halloween party. This year we had a music theme...I'm not going to point out who is who in these pictures...good luck trying to figure it out. :) We had stars there from Johnny Cash and June Carter-Cash, Pink, Elvis, Slash, Brittany to Meatloaf. There was even a Billy Ray Cyrus sighting. There are way to many to mention, but I'll say it was one star studded event. :) It was a great time for sure!
I'm hoping to get some other pictures that I can post from Johanna.

Rest Well

Today was a tough day for the Hosford family. After a long battle with several illnesses, Tom's Grandma Hosford passed away. She was absolutely one of the most amazing, strong and beautiful women I have ever known. She welcomed me into the Hosford family over 12 years ago, with open arms. She played such a huge part in Tom's upbringing and our lives together. We were very blessed to know her and be loved by her. She will be greatly missed. Sleep well Grandma.

BOO!!! Happy Halloween...oooooo...spooky. :)

Maddie was a fairy princess for her second Halloween. She thought she was something else for sure. We went trick-or-treating at both Grandparents, some neighbors and then handed out candy at our house. We had a few visitors. Jonah Carlson (Lion) and Maddie had fun riding around on her boat. Here are lots of pictures. :)

Carving pumpkins with Grandpa Hosford

On Sunday Oct. 29th Maddie carved pumpkins with her Grandpa Hosford. She wasn't sure about the yucky feeling on her hands, but enjoyed watching Papa get messy. :) Note the AMAZING carving job...by the pumpkin artist.

Happy 88th Grandma (G.G.)

This past weekend I went to Manistee MI with my Mom, many of my Aunts, a cousin, and most important, my Grandmother. My Grandma turned a young 88 last week. She is undoubtedly one of the most amazing women I know. Not only will she still shop till she drops, she watched the tigers game with me and knew what was going on the whole game!! :) Madilyn calls her G.G. for Great-Grandma of course. It brings such a smile to her face when Maddie says "hi GG!" on the phone.

I hope that I not only will be a mother like her but a grandmother liker her as well. She is an inspiration to me.

Gloomy Fall Day

Today was kind of a gloomy outside and an unexpected day home for me. Tracy wasn't able to watch Maddie today because she had another fainting spell at work yesterday. They are keeping a close eye on her and our little niece-to-be. Please keep Tracy and Gracie in your prayers as she continues in her prego adventure. :)

So after stopped to make sure Aunt Tracy had everything she needed ( including hugs from us) we spent some time outside in the gloomy weather. We just can't stay inside all day...the house is starting to close in on us. Maddie spotted these little berries along our driveway and was just giddy. It may have been because they were so tiny...I'm not sure, but she just thought they were the neatest thing. :) Anyway, here are a couple of pics from today.
