Merry Christmas

We have had such a wonderful past few days celebrating Christmas with our families. We started on Christmas Eve at Tom's parents with a combo celebration because it was Gracie's 2nd Birthday too! Then on Christmas day, we of course opened gifts here, went to brunch at Tom's parents and then spent the rest of the day with dinner at my parents. We are truly blessed with amazing people in our lives and such generosity.

Maddie's main concern this year was about the carrots for Santa's Reindeer, and the cookies/milk that was left out for Santa. She actually looked down the stairwell and saw all her gifts and says, "WOW..." then asked Tom if the carrots were gone. :) She had to check all of the stuff out first, make sure it was gone THEN she wanted to open gifts. I'm sure that won't be the case next year. :) It was really sweet.

I am going to post all of our pictures in a random order. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!

Getting Ready...

Maddie is so excited for Christmas this year, it's just adorable. I really didn't think it could any better than last year, but MAN she is so pumped! We can hardly believe that next year we will have two kiddos looking under the Christmas tree...WOW. :D

We are really looking forward to Christmas with our families this year and wish all of you a very merry and blessed Christmas. Drive safe of these crazy roads and enjoy this time with your loved ones.

Merry Christmas!!

Hard Work...thank God for my Hubby. :)

I am going to be the first one to say, I am sure as heck glad I'm not out there shoveling and snow blowing everyday!! Tom is in denial that we are going to continue to get more and more snow. :) Although he puts on a smile and is not complaining about all the work he has done. Perhaps the snow will fall everywhere EXCEPT our street this week. ;) I needed to post these because I'm so very thankful for my dear hubby, working for hours outside. Thank you love, you are the best!!

OH, and what do you think the odds we will sell our house with this situation!!!???!! Nice sign eh?

Ultra Sound at 27 Weeks...

I wish that there wasn't cord in front of half of his face in the picture, but you can still see his little face. :) I have another Ultra sound to make sure he's growing okay in a month, so maybe we'll get a better face picture. :)

I had an ultra sound today to make sure that this little one is not dealing with the anemia that Maddie had after she was born. They did a cool ultra sound to make sure that the blood flow looked correct in the main artery in his brain. It was PERFECT! In fact...he's right on track with everything.

Snowy Fun!!

What a BEAUTIFUL ( if you like snow...) day! We went outside thinking we were going to play for a few minutes and come in...we were outside for hour and a half! Whew... Maddie is such a big helper, and shovels the driveway with Daddy. Of course we made snow angles, which were a little more difficult for me this year. I had a tough time getting back up!! :) Bundle up and go outside for a little while!

Way to go RAMS!! State Champs!!!

WAHOOO!!! Way to go Rockford!! We are soooo proud of the Rams today as they take home yet another state championship in football. They played their hearts out in front of a HUGE crowd at the Ford Field in Detroit. Rockford beat Lake Orion 26-14 in a fantastic game. Maddie cheered like a super fan for the first half and then was totally tuckered out and slept on Grandma's lap for the second. :) We are also so very proud of Brogan and were so happy to see him win his final game as a Ram. Way to go boys!!

Visiting Santa

For the third year in a row, we took Maddie to see a GREAT Santa Clause at Great Northern in down town Rockford. He is an author that writes children's books and comes once a year to the store to autograph books and chat with the kids. Maddie was a little more hesitant than she has been in years past. I was kinda waiting for that to happen. :) She asked him for a "Potty Baby"...yeah, great. At least the one she wants doesn't really go potty! :) Just think...next year we'll have TWO for Santa's lap!! :D

Welcome Allory Mae

Allory Mae Burkholder was welcomed very early this morning around 12:30am. She is absolutely perfect and just a little sweetie. She looks a great deal like Jackson, but different too. :) She weighed in at 8lbs. 1 oz and is 22 1/2 inches long! :D Both her and Melissa are doing great. Jackson is a very proud big Brother and was really excited when Allory bought him a cool new Buzz Lightyear doll. :) Adam and Melissa are so blessed with this two beautiful children. We love you guys and are so thrilled everything went so well.
