Tom's Dad had an unexpected trip (and now stay) to the hospital today. He has been feeling kind of funny for a couple of weeks now; having a swollen ankle, on and off pain in his left arm and some aching in the chest. Well, this morning he thought he was having a serious heart attack and ended up at the Med center, only to be taken by ambulance to the ER. He thankfully was NOT having a heart attack but he did have two blood clots in his lungs causing this horrible pain. He was admitted right away, put on blood thinners and will have a procedure to put a "filter" of sorts near his heart to catch any clots. We are so thankful that the clots decided to head that way and not to the heart.
On another note, during the MRI he had they saw a mass on one of his kidneys. A biopsy will be taken of that while they are doing the other procedure. Obviously we are keeping positive about this, but MORE PRAYERS are needed. Jamie is doing well as he can, taking pain medication and being on total bed rest at the hospital. They suspect a 5-7 day stay.
Please pray for the entire Hosford Clan, this will be yet another hurdle we will jump.

My goodness.... I can't express my sincere, heartfelt apologies for the hits you and your families have taken the past few months. It is only proof of how strong and full of love your family is. Of course, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family again and we send you love and strength.
We are thinking of the entire Hosford family. Stay strong during these trying times. If you need anything, let us know.
Jamie is by far one of the strongest men that I know. He will be out of there soon. He has way to much going on to stay in the hospital too long. We love you all and are here if you need anything.
Love, Hugs, and prayers to the entire Hosford family from the Schaaps and Heins. Let us know if there is anything big or small that we can do!
You and our family are in our thoughts and prayers. We just went through the exact same thing with my grandma. The surgery is very quick and her recovery was painless and quick. I know it is scary and difficult regardless, I hope and pray for everything to go as smoothly for you as it was for us.
You guys are in my prayers! Obviously God is watching over your family, so I am sure He will continue to bless you. Mr. Hosford is an awesome guy. God will never put you through a trial without first giving you the courage you will need to face it! Love and Prayers!!!
