Snowy Fun!!

What a BEAUTIFUL ( if you like snow...) day! We went outside thinking we were going to play for a few minutes and come in...we were outside for hour and a half! Whew... Maddie is such a big helper, and shovels the driveway with Daddy. Of course we made snow angles, which were a little more difficult for me this year. I had a tough time getting back up!! :) Bundle up and go outside for a little while!

Way to go RAMS!! State Champs!!!

WAHOOO!!! Way to go Rockford!! We are soooo proud of the Rams today as they take home yet another state championship in football. They played their hearts out in front of a HUGE crowd at the Ford Field in Detroit. Rockford beat Lake Orion 26-14 in a fantastic game. Maddie cheered like a super fan for the first half and then was totally tuckered out and slept on Grandma's lap for the second. :) We are also so very proud of Brogan and were so happy to see him win his final game as a Ram. Way to go boys!!

Visiting Santa

For the third year in a row, we took Maddie to see a GREAT Santa Clause at Great Northern in down town Rockford. He is an author that writes children's books and comes once a year to the store to autograph books and chat with the kids. Maddie was a little more hesitant than she has been in years past. I was kinda waiting for that to happen. :) She asked him for a "Potty Baby"...yeah, great. At least the one she wants doesn't really go potty! :) Just think...next year we'll have TWO for Santa's lap!! :D

Welcome Allory Mae

Allory Mae Burkholder was welcomed very early this morning around 12:30am. She is absolutely perfect and just a little sweetie. She looks a great deal like Jackson, but different too. :) She weighed in at 8lbs. 1 oz and is 22 1/2 inches long! :D Both her and Melissa are doing great. Jackson is a very proud big Brother and was really excited when Allory bought him a cool new Buzz Lightyear doll. :) Adam and Melissa are so blessed with this two beautiful children. We love you guys and are so thrilled everything went so well.

Grandma's 80th

Grandma Snellink turned 80 years young this past Friday, and celebrated with the whole family. A great dinner provided by Uncle Jim, was fabulous!! While Grandma chatted with some other family members us Hosfords went upstairs for a few minutes to try our hand at wii bowling and boxing. It was comical to say the least. It's actually a ton of fun for a whole family! :)

Thank you to Grandma for celebrating your day with us. We love you Gran!!

Halloween 2008

So, another Halloween come and gone...unbelievable. What an AMAZING night weather wise!! We had lots of our dear friends stop by and bring their kiddos all dressed up. Thanks for stopping buy everyone!!

Maddie LOVED being Princess Aurora (AKA- Sleeping Beauty). Of course...due to the fact that she's PINK. :D She was pretty pooped by the time the day was done, but had so much fun with her friends.

Hope you all had a great Halloween! Look forward to seeing all the pictures!! :D

Freaked out

Now that I am completely freaked out by the "anonymous" persons comment on my last post, I have taken down the flier. I obviously know that I have a little girl to protect and would never let anything happen to her. If you were the person that left the message, I would appreciate you just dropping me an e-mail and tell me you did so. I am sitting here thinking there's a creep out there that said it. Thank you.

By the way......for future comments, I HATE ANONYMOUS COMMENTS. if you don't want us to know who you are, you are not welcome to leave a comment.
Thanks

We FINALLY put the sign in the yard!!

Well... we FINALLY put a for sale sign in our yard. I'm sitting here regretting that fact that we didn't do this about 4 months ago, but we can't do anything about that now. :)

We SOOOO love this house and LOVE the location, we just need more room. Kids come with so much STUFF! :) If you know anyone that would be interested in our home, please drop me an e-mail.

Fall Days...

Wow, these days have quickly become crisp and COLD! Burrrr!

Yesterday after Maddie's pre-school we went down town Rockford to take a few pictures. She was being a silly goose for a little while and then got COLD. At least we got a couple of Fall Pictures. :D

Happy FALL all!!

Painting Day

Maddie and I spent a great deal of the morning painting. AKA making a mess... :) That's the best kind of fun if you ask me. :) She painted about 20 pictures, one for everyone. Many of you will be getting a "One of a kind" print soon I'm sure.

I hope everyone is having a great fall weekend!!

GVSU - Let's go BLUE!!

Last night we went to GVSU's Homecoming game, which had a heck of a turn out with over 14,000 people attending. Maddie was so great and really loves these games. She spends most of her time nestled up with her Papa watching the game. I can't believe how much she actually watches!! She did get a little sad when Gracie went home I will say... :) Those two are two peas in a pod. I didn't take many pictures last night, but I love these so I thought I'd share. Of course that's the adorable Hein family. :) Grand Valley ended up killing Hillsdale, but I don't know the final score. They smoked em, that's all I know. :)
